Unity and Diversity

How we can reflect the diversity of our community and proclaim the diversity of our Kingdom

Welcome to the Unity and Diversity Core Class. Unity and diversity as it relates to age, gender, and race have always been deeply Gospel issues. In this class, we will be exploring the biblical basis for unity and diversity, how God is building it, as well as practical instruction for how we as a church can be open to reflecting and proclaiming the diversity of our Kingdom.

Class Schedule

This core class was first taught in August-September of 2020 but will be available again live at Faith Fellowship soon. In the meantime, you can access the class audio as well as notes and transcripts by clicking the images below.

Ephesians 2 shows us that unity and diversity is not about what we need to do but rather about what God has already done. We have a responsibility, but success ultimately comes when we join in God’s work.

As with diversity, God has plans for similarity within His church. This week, we explore the value of similarity to know all that God has built into His church. Ultimately, similarity is important because God uses it to help us follow Christ.
